Focus on your strategy not on distractions

Too many opportunities!!!Chaos, which one to choose? Which one is the right one for you? How can you know?

Well, I was looking at the LinkedIn profiles of some of my classmates in my university, and figured out that some of them are trainees in some very good universities like University of Illinois , ETH Zurich or somewhere else. You see that you lack the experience field in your resume. What do you do? No, no, no. The right question is not what do you do, is what you want to achieve long-term and will this particular action help you achieve it.

It is very easy to get out of track while you make progress with your job, when you focus on something else for a while. Do you have a strategy? If you do then you probably know what you are doing and you found out what makes you happy. Stick to it. Focus all your power in that, because that will lead you to your target. Follow your strategy; you have thought through it a lot.

If you haven't got a strategy, it's ok. You can start by what you like to do now. There must be something in your life that you like doing and focusing extra hard on it, could help you make your life more productive, more creative and happy. Then, see the things that could advance what you chose to follow and make a career around that subject.


Steve Jobs said on distractions in work, that it's not only what you focus on, but what you do not focus on too : "I am prouder for what I did not do, than what i did" Distractions can make you go out of your path and make you lose time in things that are really not important. 

What to do after university graduation, and how to figure it out

Well, you graduated high school, you are around 20 years old and you don't have the best university degree what do you do?

Here is what I did.

Whatever happens, it’s a sure thing that you can find work in your field if you decide that you want to.  But the first thing you need to ask yourself is, what exactly do I want to do.  The one thing that is certain is that life is learning and learning is fun. It makes your character stronger, more productive, more extrovert. Your horizons open in the most effective way to let you reach your full potential.

Many people realize at this age that they want to be entrepreneurs, and the feeling is a force that drives them forward and makes them what they are meant to be. That is great! You will need some lessons in entrepreneurship if you belong in this category.  But what if you cannot afford going to a management college? Whatever happens, you need money, be it to start your company immediately, or to take some courses for that.  What do you do? 

Firstly, you need to find a job that will feed you and allows you save money. Then you start by having online courses.  Yay!! In that way, you make your resume stronger and you learn how to start your company as well. 

There are many platforms out there to help you with that. Some of them are Coursera, EdX, Futurelearn, Digital Business Academy etc.  These lessons will teach you how to figure out exactly what kind of company you want to start and they will guide you through it.

Along with your job you can start setting up your company and at some point you will start making money. Then you have to take a big decision. In order for you to stay in the best possible situation you can be, you need to have a great resume and enough experience. But starting your company has already given you that.  You can either choose to have an online degree (2 or 3 years) in a great university (and trust me there are some great universities out there offering management degrees, if you pay of course), go to a college about entrepreneurship, management or whatever it is that interests you, or continue with your and try to reach the top.

But what if you choose two of them and then accomplish them? You will have two things going and you will gain experience and knowledge.

In another article, we will discuss the choice of not being an entrepreneur and instead choose to pursue a master's degree or a Phd. Everything depends solely on the decisions you make and I will share with you some techniques to make them in the most inexpensive way, gaining the best possible outcomes.

The characteristic of creative and active people is that they want to do whatever they can to reach their goals and unravel their full potential. They always learn, they always focus on something great and they are having a really nice time doing many things, not simultaneously but consecutively. Being a creative person means being yourself.
